In order to indicate the updated “Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing” work programme, Enterprise Europe Network and The European Action Health NCP Net 2.0 (which is funded by the European Union) co-organized Horizon 2020 Partnering Day in Brussels, Belgium. This event mainly aimed to inform the researchers, institutes, universities and SME’s about the calls and relevant topics under the “H2020 Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing” theme and provide a brokerage medium.
Due to event policy, among all the participants, a limited group of researchers and relevant parties were selected to present their ideas, interests, and portfolio in the form of “Flash Presentations”.
Our Healthcare & Transportation Group Project Manager Deniz Katırcıoğlu Öztürk, Ph.D. was among the eligible presenters selected specifically for the Flash Presentation session. On behalf of ICterra, her content included the company’s expertise in Artificial Intelligence, tele-medicine, Io(M)T and mHealth for relevant H2020 topics. Congruent with these aspects of ICterra, she also highlighted the idea of an integrable and autonomous diagnosis-support framework for localization and case-based classification of thoracic anomalies with chest radiography (CXR) and tried to emphasize the importance of “diagnosis-support framework” to deal with the “overlooked” cases. As a result, many prolific meetings had been held with interested parties for possible collaborations.
We congratulate our teammate for being selected as the only presenter from Turkey in Brussels.
